How to Make Sunscreen at Home Naturally

1.India's average temperature has risen by 0.7°C over the last 121 years (1901 to 2022), and studies show that UV radiation levels can increase by 2-4% for every 1°C rise in temperature.

2.UV radiation from the sun can harm our skin, leading to issues like sunburn and, in severe cases, skin cancer.

3.Commercial sunscreens often contain chemicals that may cause skin problems like acne or pimples.

4.Homemade natural sunscreens can provide effective protection against UV rays without harmful chemicals.

5.Ingredients like coconut oil, shea butter, aloe vera, raspberry seed oil, carrot seed oil, and zinc oxide are used in DIY sunscreen recipes for broad-spectrum sun protection.

6.Here are some simple homemade sunscreen recipes:

  1. Coconut oil and shea butter mixed with zinc oxide provide SPF 4 to 6.
  2. Aloe vera combined with raspberry seed oil and zinc oxide offers SPF 25 to 50.
  3. Sesame oil mixed with carrot seed oil and zinc oxide provides SPF 35 to 40.

7.To make these sunscreens, mix the ingredients well to create a lotion and apply it to the skin before going out in the sun.
