Roxipen 500 mg/500 mg Injection
Roxipen 500 mg/500 mg Injection is a combination medicine having Ampicillin and Cloxacillin, to battle bacterial infections.
They disrupt the formation of the protective covering bacteria need to survive. Ampicillin weakens the bacterial cell wall, and Cloxacillin stops the protective covering from forming, working together to eliminate the infection effectively.
Follow your doctor's instructions on how to take it. You can take it with or without food, but it's best to take it at the same time every day.
If you're allergic to certain antibiotics like penicillin or cephalosporin, inform your doctor before taking Ampicillin and Cloxacillin. Allergic reactions can range from mild skin rashes to severe conditions. Inform your healthcare provider about any known allergies. If you have kidney issues, your doctor may need to adjust the dosage, so regular monitoring is essential.
It may cause common side effects such as nausea, diarrhea, urticaria, skin rash, or itching. If these effects persist, consult your doctor.
If you miss a dose, take it when you remember. If your next dose is approaching, skip the missed one. Never take two doses together. Consult your doctor for guidance on managing missed doses effectively. Finish the full course of medicine prescribed by your doctor for the best results.
