How is Rhoclone administered?
Rhoclone should be administered under the supervision of a trained healthcare professional or a doctor only and should not be self-administered. Rhoclone is given into a muscle, normally in the upper arm. Follow your doctor’s instructions carefully to get maximum benefit from Rhoclone.
What does anti-D antibody mean?
If youre RhD negative, your blood will be checked for the antibodies (known as anti-D antibodies) that destroy RhD positive red blood cells. If anti-D antibodies are detected in your blood during pregnancy, theres a risk that your unborn baby may get affected by rhesus disease.
What should I keep in mind while taking Ivnex?
Ivnex can reduce the efficiency of some vaccines (like measles/mumps/rubella or chickenpox vaccines). So, inform your doctor that you are on Ivnex before you get any vaccines. Also, let your doctor know if you are pregnant, planning to get pregnant or if you are breastfeeding.
Can Iviglob cause kidney damage?
Yes, Iviglob can cause kidney damage but not in everyone. Patients having a pre-existing kidney problem, diabetes and hypovolemia (a decrease in the volume of circulating blood) are at risk of developing kidney failure. Additionally, patients who are overweight, over 65 years of age and who are using medicines that can cause kidney damage are also at risk of developing kidney failure. Also, Iviglob which has sucrose, fructose or maltose as an ingredient in it is more likely to cause kidney damage.
