Palocit 10mg Tablet is used primarily to treat depression. As a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI), it boosts serotonin levels in the brain, improving mood and alleviating depressive symptoms.

Follow your doctor's instructions regarding the dosage and duration of this medication with or without food, preferably at the same time each day. Swallow the tablet whole; do not chew, crush, or break it.

Be aware of the increased risk of suicidal thoughts, especially in young adults and during dose changes.

Monitor for symptoms of low sodium levels, like headache and confusion, particularly in the elderly.

Possible side effects include insomnia, nausea, restlessness, upset stomach, and weight gain. Contact your doctor if these persist or worsen.

If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible, but skip it if the next dose is near. Avoid doubling up doses.
