Natural Remedies to Remove Tan!

  • Staying in sunlight is crucial for our bodies, particularly for our brains and bones, as it provides essential vitamin D for overall health.
  • However, sunlight also emits harmful rays like UVA and UVB, which can damage the upper layer of the skin, causing tanning and a dull appearance.

Here are a few natural remedies to easily remove tan:-

1.Lemon Juice and Honey: Lemon acts as a natural bleaching agent due to its citric acid content, which exfoliates the skin and lightens tan.

  • How to use: Mix equal parts lemon juice and honey, apply on the face, leave it for 10-15 minutes, then wash with lukewarm water.

2.Aloe Vera: Aloe Vera possesses skin-soothing and antioxidant properties that protect the skin from UV rays.

  • How to use: Apply fresh aloe vera gel on tanned skin, leave it for 20-30 minutes, then wash with water.

3.Tomatoes: Tomatoes contain lycopene, a powerful antioxidant that protects the skin from damage and reduces tan.

  • How to use: Blend a tomato into a paste, apply it to the tanned area, leave for 15-20 minutes, then wash off with water.

4.Oatmeal and Buttermilk: Oatmeal exfoliates dead skin cells, while lactic acid in buttermilk improves skin tone.

  • How to use: Mix oatmeal with buttermilk to form a paste, gently scrub on tanned skin in circular motions for a few minutes, then wash off with water.

5.Saffron and Milk: Saffron contains natural compounds that protect the skin from UV damage and remove tan.

  • How to use: Soak a few strands of saffron in milk or cream overnight, apply it on tanned areas, leave for 20-30 minutes, then wash with water.
