It is used to manage blood sugar levels in adults with Type 2 Diabetes.
It's combination of three antidiabetic medicines: Dapagliflozin, Metformin, and Sitagliptin.
- Dapagliflozin: Increases urinary glucose excretion, reducing blood glucose levels.
- Metformin: Reduces glucose absorption from food and decreases liver-produced glucose.
- Sitagliptin: Signals the liver to reduce sugar production when blood sugar levels are high.
Type 2 diabetes is a long-term health issue marked by elevated blood sugar levels due to the body's inefficient use of insulin or inadequate insulin production.
Regular monitoring of blood sugar levels is advised while on this medication.
Taken with or without food at the same time daily, as prescribed by the doctor.
