Can I take Prolid for excessive salivation?
Yes, Prolid can be used as it is helpful in cases of excessive salivation and drooling which can be seen in Parkinson’s disease or due to medicines (neuroleptics). It should be taken only if prescribed by your doctor.
Can Prolid cause addiction?
Yes, Prolid may cause addiction as it has abuse potential though it occurs rarely. The doctors are usually cautious while prescribing this medicine and do not prescribe this medicine to patients whose symptoms are not genuine.
What should I avoid while taking Prolid?
Avoid driving or operating machines if Prolid causes blurred vision or makes you feel dizzy, confused or disorientated. You should also avoid taking alcohol as it may increase your drowsiness. Taking this medicine may affect your body’s ability to regulate its temperature. As a result, your body temperature may rise more than normal. So, you should also avoid areas with high humidity and high temperature.
Who should not take Prolid?
Patients who are allergic to Prolid or any of the other ingredients of this medicine should not take Prolid. This medicine should be avoided in cases of glaucoma (increased pressure in the eye) in patients who have a blockage in the intestine (gut). In addition, patients who are facing difficulty, or are unable to, pass urine and are not currently receiving any form of treatment for this, should avoid taking Prolid.
Who should not take Procy?
Patients who are allergic to Procy or any of the other ingredients of this medicine should not take Procy. This medicine should be avoided in cases of glaucoma (increased pressure in the eye) in patients who have a blockage in the intestine (gut). In addition, patients who are facing difficulty, or are unable to, pass urine and are not currently receiving any form of treatment for this, should avoid taking Procy.
Who should not take Trodin?
Patients who are allergic to Trodin or any of the other ingredients of this medicine should not take Trodin. This medicine should be avoided in cases of glaucoma (increased pressure in the eye) in patients who have a blockage in the intestine (gut).
