Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic that, facilitates the excretion of sodium and water from the body, effectively reducing blood volume. Meanwhile, Olmesartan Medoxomil works to relax blood vessels, aiding in the smooth flow of blood. Patients can take this medication with or without food, but it is advisable to maintain a consistent time daily for better results.

Some common side effects associated with this medication include nausea, dizziness, increased uric acid levels in the blood, upper respiratory tract infections.

It promotes the excretion of sodium and water, potentially leading to electrolyte imbalances, especially hypokalemia (low potassium levels). The combination with Olmesartan may further increase the risk of potassium loss.
