Introduction
Mucotab ET Tablet 10s is used for specific lung diseases like emphysema, bronchitis, cystic fibrosis, and pneumonia, is inhaled to help thin and loosen mucus in the airways, making it easier to breathe.
Acetylcysteine, on the other hand, is commonly employed to treat respiratory issues such as chronic bronchitis, cystic fibrosis, and pulmonary fibrosis. It functions as a mucolytic agent, breaking down and thinning airway mucus, enhancing respiratory function.
Follow your doctor's advice – have it with or without food. Your prescribed dose depends on how you're doing stick with it for as long as the doctor suggests; stopping early might bring back symptoms.
Common side effects include temporary vomiting, heartburn, stomach upset, rash, itching, and nasal inflammation. If concerned, promptly consult your doctor. Avoid alcohol to prevent excessive drowsiness.
