Lahexy 2mg Tablet

Introduction

Lahexy 2mg Tablet 10s is prescribed to alleviate the symptoms of Parkinson's disease, such as tremors, muscle stiffness, spasms, and difficulties in controlling weak muscles.

Trihexyphenidyl/Benzhexol is an anticholinergic that seems to impact the parasympathetic nervous system by blocking outgoing signals directly. This action influences organs and structures controlled by this system, like salivary glands, eyes, and smooth muscles, even at lower doses.

It may also help in preventing or managing similar muscle-related issues such as extrapyramidal side effects (EPS) induced by older antipsychotic medications.

Patients prescribed it should adhere to their healthcare provider's recommendations regarding dosage and duration of treatment.

It is crucial to report any persistent symptoms or adverse effects promptly.

How it works

Trihexyphenidyl/Benzhexol is employed to alleviate symptoms associated with Parkinson's disease or drug-induced extrapyramidal reactions. As an anticholinergic, it rebalances neurotransmitters, reducing involuntary movements and muscle rigidity.
