How Does Divacon Tablet Work?

Divacon Tablet contains Ethinyl Estradiol and Levonorgestrel. It works by inhibiting the release of a certain hormone (gonadotropin) that is responsible for the stimulation of the ovary and the maturation of eggs. Levonorgestrel (also known as an emergency contraceptive) delays the maturation of eggs and prevents fertilization. Together, they stop the release of eggs from the ovaries and prevent sperm from reaching and fertilizing an egg. It also alters the lining of the uterus, making the uterus hostile to implantation.
