Crisanta Tablet can be taken with or without food but it is recommended to take it at the same time every day for maximum benefit It is important to follow your doctors advice on taking this medication Start taking the pill on the first day of your menstrual cycle and continue taking it for the entire month Once the pack is finished start a new pack If you vomit within 4 hours of taking a dose take another tablet It may take your body up to 7 days to adjust to the medication so it is advisable to use a condom during the first week to avoid pregnancy If you miss a dose and are more than 12 hours late in taking it use a condom during intercourse for the next 2 days Some common side effects of this medicine include nausea headaches breast pain and weight gain If these side effects bother you or appear to be serious inform your doctor There may be ways to reduce or prevent these side effects You may also experience spotting or bleeding between menstrual periods or missed periods Consult your doctor if this occurs frequently or persists longer If you notice swelling and pain in your limbs shortness of breath chest pain or changes in vision it may be a sign of a blood clot Inform your doctor immediately if you experience any of these symptoms Before taking this medicine let your doctor know if you smoke and are over 35 years old or if you have ever had a heart attack or have cancer of the uterus cervix or vagina Your doctor should also be informed about all other medications you are taking as some may interact with this medicine and make it less effective or change the way it works Do not take this medicine if you are already pregnant or breastfeeding Regular checkups of blood pressure cholesterol and blood sugar levels may be required while on treatment
