Can I use Colimex while breastfeeding?
It is advised that you use Colimex only when it is clearly needed. It is known that the medicine passes into breast milk and may have serious side effects on an infant younger than 6 months of age. Do not breastfeed while taking this medicine or else seek your doctor’s advice.

Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) occurs when the stomach acid frequently flows back into the esophagus (the tube which connects your mouth and stomach). This backwash (acid reflux) can irritate the lining of your esophagus. Symptoms include chest pain (heartburn), usually after eating, which might be worse at night and difficulty in swallowing.
What is the use of colimex suspension?
Colimex Suspension helps treat stomach pain, bloating, and abdominal cramps caused due to acidity, gas, infections, or diseases of the gastrointestinal tract in children. It works by relaxing the muscles of the gut and absorbing extra gas. Colimex Suspension also helps control the symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome.
What should I discuss with my doctor before taking Colimex?
Before you start taking Colimex, tell your doctor if you are allergic to this medicine or if you have problems with urination. Also inform your doctor if you have a bowel obstruction or severe constipation, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), a serious heart condition or active bleeding. Your doctor should also be informed if you are breastfeeding or have glaucoma (eye disorder causing gradual loss of sight).
