How it works
Citicoline is a medication that protects the nerves. It functions on the brain by feeding the nerve cells, safeguarding them from harm, and enhancing their survival. A GABA (gamma amino butyric acid) analogue is called piracetam. It functions by preventing the brain and nervous system from experiencing oxygen deprivation and by influencing different ion channels on the membrane of nerve cells.

--Nervous system disorders (insomnia, vertigo), gastrointestinal disorders (diarrhea, nausea, vomiting), skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders (rash, pruritus), musculoskeletal and connective tissue disorders (back pain), general disorders and administration site conditions (asthenia, fever), psychiatric disorders (nervousness, hostility, emotional lability, agitation, confusion), respiratory, thoracic and mediastinal disorders (dyspnea), investigations (increased blood creatine phosphokinase)
