Chericof LS Syrup

Introduction

Chericof LS Syrup 100ml is a combination medication, comprising Ambroxol, Levosalbutamol/Levalbuterol and Guaifenesin, is designed to treat mucus filled cough by addressing both the thinning of mucus and relaxation of airway muscles.

Ambroxol works to thin mucus in the nose, windpipe, and lungs, facilitating easier coughing.

Levosalbutamol/Levalbuterol, a bronchodilator, relaxes airway muscles.

Guaifenesin contributes to the reduction of mucus stickiness, aiding in its removal from the airways.

Together, these components provide comprehensive relief, promoting improved respiratory function and alleviating conditions associated with restricted airways and excessive mucus, offering a holistic approach to respiratory wellbeing.

Before using, carefully read the label for instructions. When taking the medication, use a measuring cup for accurate dosage and shake the syrup well before consumption. While it can be taken with or without food, maintaining a consistent daily schedule is recommended for better results.

Before using this medicine, disclose any history of diabetes, seizures, high blood pressure, overactive thyroid, stomach ulcers, or phenylketonuria to your doctor. Exercise caution in patients with heart conditions. Report any chest pain, irregular heartbeats, or worsening respiratory symptoms promptly. Consult your healthcare provider for guidance on concurrent medication use.

Users may experience bronchitis (inflammation of the airways), dizziness, vomiting, inflammation of the nose, pain, asthma, and pharyngitis. If these symptoms persist or worsen, consulting a healthcare professional is advisable.

In the event of a missed dose, take it as soon as possible. If the next dose is approaching, skipping the missed dose is recommended; doubling up on doses should be avoided.

How it works

Ambroxol (30mg/5ml) + Levosalbutamol/Levalbuterol (1mg/5ml) + Guaifenesin (50mg/5ml) facilitates easier breathing by relaxing airway muscles and widening them. Additionally, it contributes to the reduction of mucus stickiness, assisting in its removal from the airways. By addressing both aspects, the medication provides comprehensive relief, promoting improved respiratory function and alleviating conditions associated with restricted airways and excessive mucus, offering a holistic approach to respiratory well-being.
