Asthesia Cream is a medication that helps temporarily numb the skin and the surrounding area It should be used according to your doctors instructions in terms of dosage and duration It is important to note that this medicine is meant for external use only Before applying the cream make sure that the affected area is clean and dry To apply the cream use a thin layer and gently rub it into the skin until it forms a layer of about 23mm After that you can apply an occlusive dressing to protect the area It is recommended to keep the dressing on for a minimum of 2 hours before any scheduled treatment or surgery Avoid getting the cream into your eyes or mouth In case of accidental exposure rinse thoroughly with water Common side effects of Asthesia Cream may include burning sensation irritation itching redness and rashes at the application site These side effects are usually temporary and will go away on their own However if they persist or bother you for a longer duration it is advisable to consult your doctor
