Alkof LS Syrup 100ml consists of Cetirizine, an antihistamine; Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide, a cough suppressant; and Phenylephrine, a decongestant. It's typically used for the symptomatic relief of cold and allergy symptoms, such as runny nose, sneezing, cough, and nasal congestion

Cetirizine blocks histamine, reducing allergy symptoms. Dextromethorphan acts on the brain to suppress cough reflexes Phenylephrine narrows blood vessels in nasal passages, relieving congestion

It is usually taken orally, It's important to follow the prescribed dosage and not exceed the recommended amount.

Side effects include drowsiness (from cetirizine), mild gastrointestinal disturbances, and, rarely, increased blood pressure (from phenylephrine) Dextromethorphan can cause dizziness in some individuals.

Caution is advised in patients with high blood pressure, heart disease, thyroid disorders, and diabetes.
