Tobaren Eye Drop contains Tobramycin, which is an antibiotic medicine. It prevents the synthesis of proteins essential for bacteria to carry out vital functions and thus stops the growth of bacteria.
How to take Tobaren Eye Drop?
- This drop is for external use only.
- Ensure you don't exceed the amount prescribed.
- Read the label carefully for directions before use.
- Instill the drop in ear/eyes as advised by your doctor.
What are the side effects of Tobaren Eye Drop?
There are no major side effects of this medicine; some of the common side effects that you might experience are:
- Burning, irritation, itching, and redness at the site of application
- Eye irritation
- Burning sensation
- Eye redness
- Eye itching

How should Tobrine be used?
You should wash your hands before using the eye drops. Avoid touching the dropper tip against your eye or anywhere else. Tilt your head slightly and instil one drop. Close your eyes for 2 or 3 minutes with your head tipped down, avoid blinking or squinting. Gently press your finger to the inside corner of the eye for about 1 minute, to keep the liquid from draining into your tear duct. If you use more than one drop, wait about 5 minutes between the drops. Wait at least 10 minutes before using any other eye drops your doctor has prescribed.
