Soval Syrup can be used alone or in combination with other medications It can be taken with or without food Your doctor will determine the appropriate dosage for you which may be gradually increased until your condition is stable It may take several weeks for the medication to take effect so it is important to take it regularly to experience its benefits Unless advised by your doctor do not discontinue the medication even if you feel fine as stopping it abruptly could lead to an increase in seizures or worsening of bipolar disorder symptoms The most common side effects of Soval Syrup include skin rashes headaches nausea difficulty sleeping dizziness and drowsiness Most side effects are temporary and will subside but if they are bothersome or persist inform your doctor There may be methods to prevent or reduce these side effects Prolonged use of this medication can weaken your bones increasing the risk of osteoporosis and fractures Before taking Soval Syrup inform your doctor if you have kidney or liver problems meningitis depression or suicidal thoughts Additionally let your healthcare team know about any other medications you are taking as some may interact with or be affected by this medicine including contraceptive pills If you are pregnant or breastfeeding Soval Syrup can be used if absolutely necessary but the dosage may need to be adjusted If the medication makes you drowsy or dizzy avoid driving or cycling You may need to undergo frequent blood tests to monitor your response to the medication
