Ovir 250mg Injection should only be administered by a healthcare professional It is important to avoid selfadministration The injection is given through a slow intravenous IV infusion over a period of one hour to prevent kidney damage It is recommended to consume plenty of water while undergoing treatment with this medication as it helps prevent dehydration and kidney damage Common side effects of Ovir 250mg Injection may include vomiting nausea and increased liver enzymes You may also experience injection site reactions such as pain swelling or redness If these side effects persist for an extended period of time please inform your doctor It is advised to consult your doctor if you are pregnant planning to conceive or breastfeeding
Can I get resistant to Axovir 250mg Injection treatment?
Patients with advanced HIV disease or patients with an impaired immunity have reported resistance to Axovir 250mg Injection. If you are not responding to Axovir 250mg Injection, the possibility of drug resistance should be checked.
What can happen if somebody takes more than the recommended dose of Ovir accidentally?
Accidental, repeated overdoses of oral Ovir over several days have resulted in nausea, vomiting, confusion and headache. Consult your doctor in case of overdose.
