Ensure that Macromycin Tablet is taken orally on an empty stomach It is important not to miss any doses and complete the full course of treatment even if you start feeling better Abruptly stopping the medication may result in the infection recurring or becoming worse Commonly observed side effects include temporary nausea vomiting stomach pain and diarrhea These side effects generally improve and disappear with the completion of the treatment However if these side effects persist or do not resolve within a reasonable duration it is advisable to consult your doctor Regular monitoring of liver function tests LFTs may be necessary while using this medication Macromycin Tablet is considered safe for use during pregnancy However it does not affect the severity of the disease if the unborn child is already infected Prior to taking this medicine inform your doctor about any previous history of allergies
