Can I stop Glucoptic if I am fine now?
No, you should not stop using Glucoptic without consulting your doctor. If you stop taking this medicine suddenly, the pressure in your eyes may not be controlled which may increase the risk of loss of sight.

Can I use Glucoptic with contact lenses?
No, you should remove your contact lenses before instilling Glucoptic. You can re-insert the lens 15 minutes after using Glucoptic. Contact your doctor if there is any eye irritation that persists.

How should you use Glucoptic?
Glucoptic should be used in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. Glucoptic eye drops are usually instilled once or twice a day at evenly spaced intervals, until the pressure in the eye is controlled (about 4 weeks). After that, it can be instilled once a day or as advised by the doctor. Follow the directions of your doctor carefully, and ask your doctor to explain any part you do not understand.

What are the side effects of Glucoptic?
Glucoptic may cause side effects such as blurred vision and headache. Some other side effects of this medicine include watery eyes, redness of the eye, eye irritation, burning or discomfort. If any of these side effects bother you, please consult your doctor.
