The purpose of this medication is to prevent pregnancy by either temporarily inhibiting the release of an egg from the ovary or by preventing the fertilization of the egg by sperm It is recommended to take a single dose of Eve Pill 15mg Tablet which can be taken with or without food For optimal effectiveness it should be taken within 72 hours of having unprotected sex Common side effects of this medication may include nausea abdominal bloating muscle pain tiredness and irregular periods in the next cycle If these side effects become bothersome or severe it is important to inform your doctor They may be able to offer suggestions on how to reduce or prevent these side effects Prior to taking this medication it is important to check if you are already pregnant or if it has been more than 5 days since you missed your period or if it has been more than 72 hours since having unprotected sex If you are currently breastfeeding it is important to inform your doctor It is generally recommended to perform a pregnancy test after 5 days of taking the medication to ensure its effectiveness
