Diclodyne 1 Gel should be applied to the affected area 2 to 4 times a day depending on its strength It is important to apply it slowly and evenly ensuring it is rubbed into the skin Avoid excessive use of the gel and refrain from covering the treated area with a bandage or plaster This medication is generally safe with minimal side effects however you may experience a skin rash itching reddening or burning of the skin In some cases a skin rash could indicate a severe allergic reaction If you notice a rash with blistering it is important to seek medical attention immediately Please note that Diclodyne 1 Gel is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding and should not be used if you are already taking diclofenac or similar tablets
