Please follow your doctors instructions regarding the dose and duration of Avilox Suspension You can take it with or without food at a consistent time It is important not to skip any doses and to complete the entire course of treatment even if you start feeling better Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose simply take the next dose as scheduled Nausea may be experienced as a side effect of this medication Typically this is temporary and resolves on its own However if it becomes bothersome or persists for a prolonged period please consult your doctor Diarrhea may also occur as a side effect but should stop once you have completed the course of treatment If it does not stop or if you notice blood in your stools inform your doctor If you are allergic to any of the ingredients in Avilox Suspension do not take this medicine In rare cases a severe allergic reaction may occur requiring immediate medical attention Signs of a severe allergic reaction include rash swelling of the lips tongue or face shortness of breath or breathing difficulties If you have kidney problems take special care when taking this medication
