Artificial Tears BP Eye Drop is typically used as needed Follow your doctors instructions regarding the number of drops to use Wait at least 510 minutes before administering any other medication in the same eye to avoid dilution Do not use a bottle if the seal is broken Before using make sure to wash your hands and avoid touching the end of the dropper to prevent eye infection This medication may be used longterm and is safe to use for as long as needed The most common side effects of this medication include blurred or altered vision and occasional eye pain If you experience these symptoms inform your doctor although they are usually temporary Avoid driving operating machinery or engaging in activities that require clear vision until you are confident it is safe to do so If your condition does not improve or if the side effects become bothersome consult your doctor This medication is unlikely to interact with other medicines you are using but it is important to inform your doctor if you have a history of glaucoma Do not use this medication while wearing soft contact lenses and consult your doctor if you develop an eye infection while using it
