The Aloxy Capsule does not alleviate other side effects that are associated with cancer treatments It also does not have much impact on motion sicknessinduced vomiting It is important to follow the dosage and duration recommended by your doctor Taking the medicine at a consistent time is preferable Abruptly stopping the medication without consulting your doctor is not advised If you vomit within an hour of taking a dose take another dose and avoid heavy meals for the rest of the day The most common side effects of this medicine are headache and constipation Dizziness and drowsiness may also occur so refrain from driving or engaging in activities that require mental alertness until you are aware of how the medicine affects you These symptoms should go away once you stop taking the medication However if they persist or become bothersome consult your doctor who may be able to suggest ways to prevent or reduce them Before taking this medicine inform your doctor if you have heart or liver problems or if you have a blockage in your stomach or intestines Additionally disclose all other medications you are currently taking particularly those used to treat epilepsy heart problems cancer and depression as they may interact with or be affected by this medicine If you are pregnant or breastfeeding seek advice from your healthcare team
